Frequently we are called in after the surveyor has deposited the scheme plan for subdivision with Council, and in many cases could have saved the developer time and money had we been consulted at an earlier stage.

Often we are able to work alongside the surveyor, planning more effective avenues for services, easements, vehicle crossings and allotment sizes. This work is complimentary to theirs and assists in reducing client overheads at the construction stage.

All subdivision is a matter of Resource Consent and Plans.co.nz is kept up to date with the planning changes in council by both their staff, and with a close working relationship with two local surveying companies.

Our depth of experience is predominantly in small lot subdivisions where both builders, investors and developers can take advantage of our knowledge base and exploit this to achieve successful outcome for their projects.
